My group has
three members who are AlJahdali, AlMuhannad A, Hofstater, Brittany M, and I.
Our group topic is punctuation. We want to remind people the importance of
punctuation. In a paper, grammar, logicality, and structure are all very
important. Sometimes, people will ignore the punctuation because of inconspicuous.
We decided to
each member write a part. AlJahdali, AlMuhannad A wrote commas. Hofstater,
Brittany M wrote period, question mark, exclamation, quotation marks, and
hyphen. I wrote semicolon and colon. We used the websites that teacher gave us to
find each punctuation definition. We tried to find detailed definition and one
definition one example. AlJahdali, AlMuhannad A also used a table to show us
how to use comma. I found semicolon has four basic rules and colon has two
basic rules.
When we have a
presentation, we will explain a rule and give an example. This way can make
listeners learn more about punctuation. I
think using example is the best way to show listeners how to use punctuation in
different situations. Our goal is to show the basic rules of punctuation and
how to use them. We also want to tell listeners a perfect paper needs
everything perfect including punctuation.
